Technology Incubator
Building the awareness of the brand and continuous work on an interesting portfolio is much easier thanks to the support of the KTP Technology Incubator said Marek Wierzbicki, co-owner of Berrylife s.c. incubated at Kraków Technology Park (KTP).
The KTP Technology Incubator originated in 2008 to promote the idea of commercialisation of state-of-the-art technologies and to develop favourable conditions for the creation and development of innovative businesses.
The incubator provides a perfect place for young creative people considering starting their own business, operating in the ICT and/or engineering sector, and seeking an appropriate environment for their ideas and themselves.
The tenants of the incubator are small enterprises and microbusinesses run by graduates, doctoral students, master degree students, and the academic staff of Kraków institutions of higher education.
Most successful so far has been Mijuma, who found a capital investor and developed limited liability company Mijusic sp. z o.o. In June 2011, the fame of Berrylife peaked, as it became Poland’s only company to be admitted to the finals of the prestigious DigiBIC Award 2011 competition organised by the European Business & Innovation Centre Network.
Every business that becomes a part of the incubator carries its own traits, and consequently brings something new into its structures. This allows collaboration between firms, which perfectly influences their further development.
