Investor Network

The Kraków Technology Park Investor Network is a project of national character, conducted from 1st November 2009 to 31st October 2011.

The project answers the capital needs of innovative entrepreneurs and is a particular platform that brings together people with innovative ideas and institutions and business people conscious of their financial potential.

The KTP Investor Network focuses especially strongly on the sectors related to a range of information and communication technologies and automation.

The following have been carried out so far in the project:

- an international conference inaugurating the project and promoting the seed capital / venture capital investments market in Poland and the potential that it offers

- three start-up fairs that allow innovative entrepreneurs to present themselves to the group of potential investors

- three investment forums that allow presentation of the potential of Seed Capital/VC/PE and private investors’ services to the group of innovative entrepreneurs

- three two-day training sessions in acquisition of external capital for entrepreneurs.

Seed Fund

The KTP seed fund is a special purpose vehicle (SPV) established by Krakowski Park Technologiczny sp. z o.o. and the fund manager Satus sp. z o.o. (currently: Satus Venture sp. z o.o.). The goal behind the fund is to carry out the “incubation of new innovative companies in Kraków Technology Park” project.

Finding, initiating, and incubating innovative projects are the main actions of the seed fund. Worth special attention are the projects in information and communication technologies and engineering, including applied electronics, nanotechnology, and mechatronics.

The fund provides free of charge consulting for innovative businesses in intellectual property rights and their protection, financing, strategies, law, tax, accounting, and marketing.
